As part of the Masterplan Schlosspark 2045, students at TU Wien (Faculty of Architecture and Planning) are developing spatial and programmatic visions for the Kulturzone in Schlosspark Steyr. The focus lies on small-scale, adaptive structures and systems that support cultural activities while remaining flexible, sustainable and easily accessible. The design goal is to imagine the Kulturzone as a vibrant and adaptable place that can respond to different needs through modular elements, flexible typologies and participatory design processes. Whether for concerts, exhibitions, markets or workshops, the area should support a wide range of cultural activities and strengthen the local cultural scene over the long term.
