Kultur als System proposes temporary event infrastructure that preserves Schlosspark as a continuous open space. The starting point is four permanently integrated infrastructure points providing electricity and water connections. In everyday use, they remain discreetly embedded in the park landscape and are activated during events.
A modular system of timber platforms, columns and beams can be assembled around these points. Textile elements provide additional shade. Depending on their arrangement, the components create spaces for markets, exhibitions, concerts and larger events.
After use, the components are dismantled, stored and reused for future events. Permanent interventions are therefore limited to the four infrastructure points, while the event spaces can be configured in different ways.
