Ana Baškot and Sirma Gencheva – Scenario C

Modulus combines public park furniture with temporary event infrastructure. The design is based on a modular steel system with MERO connections, allowing its elements to be easily assembled, dismantled and rearranged.
In everyday use, the modules serve as seating and tables throughout the park. For events, they can be combined into market stalls, exhibition spaces, bars or information points, with lightweight roof structures providing protection from sun and rain where needed.
The system can extend from the Barocke Nordzone, used for smaller events, onto the adjacent Wiese for larger gatherings. Storage, assembly and the necessary infrastructure are considered from the outset. The same elements can therefore support both everyday park activities and events of different sizes.
