Survey
Invitation to Participate! One of the sources we drew upon for this questionnaire was the 2022 survey on the castle park. The questionnaire was developed and published during the first half of the semester and is now being incorporated into the design process. Thanks to the extensive feedback we received, we have already gained valuable insights into the needs, wishes, and expectations of Steyr’s residents and cultural professionals.
We still welcome every additional response – the more perspectives and experiences are included, the better different needs and requirements for the Kulturzone can be taken into account.
Interviews
In addition to the survey, interviews were conducted with representatives of Steyr’s cultural scene throughout the semester. The aim was to gain deeper insights into existing uses of Schlosspark as well as the requirements, challenges and opportunities associated with future cultural developments.
These conversations provided an opportunity to discuss and better understand the experiences, ideas and perspectives of individual cultural actors in greater depth. Together with the survey results, the insights gained from the interviews informed the students’ design work.
